Game of Thrones y American Crime Story lideran las nominaciones a los Emmy

Pasa algo extraño con la televisión. En el cine, generalmente, el éxito de una película en las taquillas no se ve reflejada en sus nominaciones. Por eso vemos que las películas más habladas del año no logran nada en los Oscar, instancia en que se destacan producciones más pequeñas. Pero en el mundo de la televisión y de las series pasa al revés, y vemos que las series más vistas tienen suficiente calidad para alcanzar las nominaciones.

La entrega número 68 de los Primetime Emmy Awards, los premios más importantes de la televisión, se llevarán a cabo el 18 de septiembre y sus nominaciones reflejan esto.

Game of Thrones se impuso una vez más como el programa con más nominaciones, con un total de 23. Y eso a pesar de que nadie de su elenco compite en la categoría de actor o actriz principal, solamente en la de secundario. Ahí se instalaron Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington y Maisie Williams, entre otros.

Aunque el segundo lugar quedó muy cerca, con 22 nominaciones: se trata de The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story, la nueva serie antológica de Ryan Murphy, que también creó Glee, American Horror Story y Scream Queens.
